Research scientists create solutions in statistical machine learning, temporal and longitudinal analyses, classification and clustering, forecasting and optimization. In other words, they solve novel optimization and prediction problems, which can include things like pricing, sales demand forecasting, targeting and personalization.
Our research scientists have demonstrated an ability to conduct independent, high-quality research. They often have a PhD in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics, operations research or other related fields.
You can find the scientific developers designing and implementing state-of-the art scientific methods to solve problems in the retail and manufacturer/supplier domains. They’ll also perform software design, prototyping, implementation and testing of scientific code.
The scientific developers have extensive experience with mathematical, algorithmic and data issues and are in tune with collaborating across teams through all phases of the R&D process. In addition, many scientific developers have a PhD and cloud computing experience.
This team supports the deployment of forecasting, supply chain, customer engagement and price and promotion optimization solutions. They’re also responsible for model tuning, trouble-shooting and systems administration.
If you’re an operational scientist, you likely have a degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics or a related subject. You have a working knowledge of all aspects of data and computing systems — collection, integration, and transfer methods.
Our team of scientists apply cutting-edge expertise in machine learning, software implementation and deploy complex solutions to internal and external clients.
